Hi guys,
I'm really keen to pick up an outback, but I'm looking at the 2014 man turbo diesel, I really like the bonnet scoop but this is the last year they did it, am I crazy for being keen on a 2014 rather than a 2105/2016 purely for the scoop? Gen 5 starts in 2014 till current
The other part of the equation is my current ride, 06 3.0RB, I'm not sure what is worth , maybe $8-14K, has anyone had a decent trade in price, assuming the above car is found in a dealership, or should I sell private 100%?
Looking forward to hearing some opinions, it's been racking my brain for awhile...
Cheers
Thinking of a new/ish outback

Trade-in: fast, easy but less money.
Private sale: annoying, arduous but better money.

It's a 3.0 RB sedan, 2006, 183kms manual, factory gps/information screen in dash, Hayman resse tow bar and hitch, exhaust, silver in colour
The only issues with it are a little ding where some bugger opened a door onto it, the gearbox bushes need to be replaced to eliminate excess movement in the stick, the electric seats aren't 100% functioning, it an issue with the switch block but I can't seem to find replacements with out buying a complete seat
What pics do you want?
