They tell you when it ships. I'll probably go with Amayama from Japan for the rest of my parts. I doubt some stuff such as the under manifold TT intake and the TT PCV joiner will become available through Partsouq.

By that order of yours Miguel, that parts site would be dangerous to the health of my bank account if I were to drop in there :/

Are the savings worth it (must be!)?

Cheers

I priced up a bunch of stuff through work when I was planning a single setup. PartSouq cost vs our dealership trade price was about half.

Some things work out more expensive

I always get the dealership price first
Timing belt kit was like 600 bucks on partsouq
But I picked it up for 400 at the dealer

Does the timing belt kitinclude water pump & thermostat? I already had a pump as I'd accidentally ordered the wrong one when I did the belt on my dad's foz GT so just went genuine belt/tensioner/tstat and non Gen gmb idlers

Which includes a crank seal

Picked up a brand new genuine TT manual starter this morning off eBay from the US. $60, seller looks to sell old warehouse stock etc and don't know the application it suits. Wrapped.

Timing kits I usually use rockauto.com to find part numbers.  Then I hit up US ebay to find the kit I want and a seller that will post internationally, then finally compare the price with a kit back here at home - just need to be wary of the exchange rate ;)

Last kit I got for the EJ22 was half the price of one in Oz and that included postage - but our dollar was much stronger back then too...

Cheers

Bennie

Well, I fixed it. Was running great for about 6k. Always had a slight idle drop with clutch in. Did the hydraulics which fixed it but made it consistently about 100rpm. Finally had some ticking coming from front of motor. Pulled the covers off for a look, found excessive crank walk had pushed timing belt into covers destroying my brand new genuine belt :(. Sourced a JDM foz ej20G with 28k on it which runs the same 9.0 comp bottom end as a facelift 20H. Will rip it apart AGAIN. Shove the bottom end in and should be good to go.

One of these days I'll get around to proper build thread updates too, just no time atm with this, the RS and dad's foz to sort + work etc etc. But things are happening and I'm excited :D
