My Legacy is really really bad on fuel! Its a Ej201 with a manual 5t transmission No mods other than a straight through exhaust system.

1.All four injectors Cleaned by ultrasonic operation/ Leak tested.
2.Spark plugs cleaned and was told they are good.
2.Intake manifold cleaned inside out
3.All sensors cleaned
4.The cat was removed due to it being broken inside and rattling.
5.its Straight through now. (it was bad on fuel even before this)
Previous Owner was a COCK he has diverted the Engine check light to not turn on but when you plug the Computer there are like 4 errors
The cam position Sensor was unplugged we re plugged that aswell.

Problems Some times it has a Rev hang and some times tries to stall

You have some codes for your heated O2 sensor. I'd start there. They are a common culprit.

Also, given your cat crapped out I'd guess it's been running really rich for a while. O2 would explain that.

There are 2 sensors on the cat cover the one towards the front or the back is the o2 ? Ecen if I replace the o2 it wont do any good as the cat isn't there anymore ? Should i get a new cat aswell ?

Unless you don't mind paying a huge fine to the EPA, when you get caught, I would strongly recommend replacing the cat...

In my Country the Emissions are not that strictly tested on thats not the issue here, I just need to figure out why this is so bad on fuel I mean I can smell the raw petrol while on traffic and shutters down and when I turn off the car at my garage. There are 2 Sensors on the Exhaust I dono what is what

If it's the same as mine, the front O2 is the likely culprit. The front is the main one and the rear one is much simpler.

I'm not sure if not having a cat will be a problem. Might not have enough back pressure but doubt it though.

Actually, the error code tells you which sensor it is. Bank 1 Sensor 1. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the front O2 sensor.

Hold on, I just realised there's another code for Bank 1 Sensor 2. Now I'm confused.

Sorry for multi-posting but it might be worth resetting your ECU, going for a short drive and rechecking those codes. Either both sensors are kaput or there's some ghost codes. Might also be an electrical problem given the P0500 for the vehicle speed sensor.

Knowing the cat crapped out, maybe the second o2 sensor failed also because of the excessive fuel in the exhaust.

It's a bit vague.

What year Legacy?

What do you define as bad fuel economy?

4 KM per litre sounds extremely poor. That's 25L per hundred KMs.

Probably a hole in the fuel tank

If you can smell fuel -- as Jimbo says -- look for leaks in the engine bay and fuel lines.

25l/100km is hopeless for a 2.0L NA engine.

What model?  Does it have a MAF?

Does it idle ok?

If someone's rooted with the wiring and you're getting weird codes, and you don't know the history -- did they do something more serious like put the wrong ECU in?

Both the o2 Sensors were bad had and had a leak and the Fuel pressure regulator bypass was blocked all replaced now to see how she runs

Fuel pressure regulator bypass was blocked

yeh - well - excessive fuel pressure will certainly make it run rich.

and running too rich long enough will kill the O2 sensors and cat. Makes sense.

Replaced that too but the same story still :/ Ordered the 5 Wire Bosh O2 sensor I really hope after spending so much on the sensor it would get fixed now :/ What else should I be looking at ?

Its a EJ201 it has a Bosch Map sensor,

It doesn't idle sometimes but most of the time its ok.

I have no Error codes now other than the Front O2 sensor witch i ordered and will be replaced as soon as I get it.

- I suspect replacing the front O2 sensor will make a big difference. I've had similar problems caused by it. The ECU relies heavily on that sensor. Good luck.
