Hello there I'm new to forums so I apologise if I don't do this right ?
But I'm hoping for some advice I recently purchased a 2001 Subaru Liberty b4 twin turbo and it's great! It's one of the most unique cars to drive and loads of fun, I did all the right things that I could within my power as I am not mechanically inclined but love anything with wheels that makes power ! I made sure it had not been in an accident written off did a long test drive and could see nothing wrong.... 1 hour into driving after purchase I could notice a metal scraping sound only whilst driving and not at idle the only way I can describe the sound is its like its rotating something that's spinning ? Flywheel? and the clutch gradually got worse and worse to the point where I can't take off without violently shaking ! Clutch is fine once going but using the clutch to downshift at low speeds there is still shudder! Please any advice as to what you think it is before I go get ripped off would be greatly appreciated !! Thank you
