Can anyone point me in the correct place to be looking, I have recently started driving my car around again and have found a little gremlin that has popped up and can't seem to source the reason.

So my headunit was playing up and I took it out to see why as when I went over bumps the whole thing would reset, everything from the wiring side seemed okay till randomly the Constant 12V was sitting at 1V. I figured maybe the wire is just gone being such an old car and was just going to get a new one run direct from the battery, But I have since found the interior lights now don't work either and the central locking also doesn't work. I have checked fuses that I can gather are related but just wondering if there is something else going on and if all these things could be linked as the dash lights and all the headlights, number plate lights and rear lights work fine.

Before taking it in it would be good to see if it is something as simple as just a fuse or something.

Cheers in advance for any advice.

Excellent, I will have to take a look. I got home late last night and didn't really feel like looking over the car with a torch.

I think this is the one as the halo light for the key switch also doesn't work, but did not check the boot light. Is the step light the parkers? as I actually didn't even think of these as I only thought of headlights and high beam. I'm just hoping the headunit isn't also stuffed as tapping on the top of the unit makes it reset also, Have a guy coming to look at the car this weekend and he seems keen to buy so will be good if I can get this sorted.

Thanks heaps for this mate,

This was it, swapped fuse out and the interior light and central locking is working will have to check the head unit.
