G'day all

I've got a fair bit of sun damage on the plastic dash console of my 1990 L-series. As you can see in the photo the colour has faded quite a bit, but the texture hasn't changed. Has anybody here had the same issue, and found ways of restoring the colour?

Thanks for your help in advance

James

Have you tried some armour-all stuff on it?

My method of sorting the colour of my dash was to get a blue dash matt.  It's worked a treat :D

Cheers

Bennie

Haven't been trying enough armour all stuff. Bought a Meguiars plastic and trim restorer yesterday that I'm going to try over the next couple of months.

And yes, dash mat is one of my solutions! May also have to hit up a wreckers sometime in the future.

Cheers! James

Remove the dash, clean it up, spray it with plastic primer and a color matched flat acrylic. Will look brand new and last.

Should be able to get a brand new dash mat for it

Sunland part number is U401 for a black one they are about 70-80 bucks usually

There is also a ' tailored' brand for about $50 bucks
From Supercheap
