G'day all.

I'm in the process of rebuilding my EJ20G (super slow process :().  I'm going for reliability over all out performance.

A little bird in the back of my head is telling me to go with the ARP studs for a solid build, otherwise there's a little bit of doubt in there and I'd be replacing them next HG (hopefully years to come) anyway.

My question is, are second hand studs just as good as new ones long term?  Apparently they've got about 40,000km on them.  I don't know what sort of build they were used in.

Thoughts?

Cheers

Bennie

Theyre supposed to be reusable as they arent stretched like the factory bolts IIRC. Assuming they havent been in a crazy build they should be ok to use

Depends on the price. You can get them new from the US on ebay for $300 AUD delivered .

Used they must be going for under $150?
