Looking to do this on the cheap.

I'm in search of the differences in distance from to different components on each shifter mechanism.
NO I DO NOT MEAN SHORT SHIFTER
a lot if not 95%+ of all information about this topic somehow involves a short shifter assembly.

I'll be posting images tomorrow (Later today) with dimensions of all the components which i believe would be longer.

Current shifter at hand is out of a lib 07+ and wanting to compare sizes and dimensions to a GD shifter
Throw does not bother me :D

Cheers guys

Liberty one is longer, at a guess I'd say by 10mm. Width is the same.

It rubs on the tunnel where the rear shifter stay bush is.

Plus it sits further back inside the car and makes changing to 2, 4, 6 and reverse a bit of a prick.

Had the Gen 4 Liberty stuff, swapped it for the GD STi short shift assy (P/N ST350104S030) which wasn't cheap.

All the info involves a short shift because why not swap the shifter when you've already done all this work?
