I am looking to install a wideband o2 sensor to keep an eye on everything and for peace of mind.

Does anyone have any experience with the best placement of the sensor on these cars given the twin down pipes?

I've been looking at tech edge products, partly because they are local and partly because I saw them on mighty car mods! Anybody have any first hand experience with them? Good or not? Seem to be pretty fully featured for the price.

The tech edge documentation recommends installing 1m after a turbo, elsewhere I have seen people talking of installing 50cm or less.

Based on my rough measurements the twin down pipes join about 1.4m after the turbos. This seems like the logically install spot but is it too far from the turbos?

I had an AEM wideband in my BG5. Can highly recommend.

I had mine placed just after the merge of the dumps, in front of the cat. If you put it in either of the dump pipes, it's pointless as you wont get a reading on what's going on during full TT operation.
