Welcome to February!

Best known for it's extra day every leap year and Saint Valentine's Day, it is the last month of summer. Its birth flower is the violet (Viola) and the common primrose (Primula vulgaris). Its birthstone is the amethyst, symbolising piety, humility, spiritual wisdom and sincerity. Its zodiac signs are Aquarius (until February 19th) and Pisces (February 20th onwards). Having only 28 days in common years, it is the only month of the year that can pass without a single full moon. This last happened in 1999 and will next happen in 2018.

On this day;

  • 1812 - Russians establish Fort Ross.
  • 1848 - Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo is signed.
  • 1876 - National League of baseball is founded.
  • 1916 - Zeppelin crashes into North Sea.
  • 1943 - Germans surrender at Stalingrad and Battle of Stalingrad ends.
  • 1949 - United States reject proposal for conference with Stalin.
  • 1962 - First U.S. Air Force plane crashes in South Vietnam.
  • 1970 - Antiwar protestors sue Dow Chemical.
  • 1971 - Idi Amin takes power in Uganda.
  • 1979 - Sid Vicious dies of a drug overdose in New York City.
  • 1996 - Gene Kelly dies.
  • 2014 - Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman dies at age 46.

I'm dreading when Subaru have to replace my airbag. I might see if I can scam them to replace my dash as well in the process.

No way do I want them pulling my dash apart.

They can give me the airbag and I'll do it or then can go fork themselves.

My shitbox is done, just needs an alignment in the morning but I ran out of time to replace radiator, thermostat and hoses.

Bloody thing has been a money pit lately, just fitted a new clutch and now the clutch hose is leaking. Typical Subaru, hits 160K and shit starts falling off!

My girlfriends Civic needs the airbag done. I was mostly surprised how they had her details, they must have gone through the dept main roads. Her car hasn't seen a Honda dealer since it left one. It was bought off Gumtree and the logbook is sketchy as fork too, with the first logged service at 35k lol. It's a reliable car, but its got some stories.

Morning cubts.

AWD turbo Mini....
I like the sound of that.

You'd have to bolt the rear diff straight onto the back of the trans!
