Hi all. New to the forum, I'm not really car savy but I think I need to clean my MAF.. being google searching all day for photos and pulling out various parts on my car but I can't find it. Even the numbered diagrams don't seem to help me.. so can someone draw a nice big arrow or circle on my photo as to where i should be looking! ?
Thanks in advance!

Regards Matt

Your car uses a map sensor instead of a maf

That explains why I cant find it then..
My car was idling rough, low revs in idle and juddery as hell when driving. I reppaced the spark plugs and coils which fixed the idle but it still judders if i try to accelerate too quickly and it back fires..
Does this sound like a map sensor issue?

When you say judders under acceleration - is it missing when accelerating ? sounds like spark still -- leads ok?

Give it a dose of Subaru upper engine cleaner (or the nulon equivalent) to clean out the throttle body and intake.

What fuel do you use? My old NA didn't like 91.

When you changed spark plugs did you notice any engine oil on or around the spark plugs ?

Pretty common for the seals around the spark plug tubes to fail and wet the plugs and leads.

What model is this ??
