Where is the best place to place a trolly jack on a G3 Impreza sedan.
When attempting to jack using the front tow hooks, the car does not get raised enough

The area in the red box is the pinch welds where the scissor jack is placed, I know this is where I place the jack stands, but can I use the areas to the side which are shown as a green box safely?

I know shouldnt use the lower control arm as a jack point as it is a curved surface and as well as being a suspension component.

Place it in the centre. Your manual should show you where.

Rear jack point is under the diff casing. Front point is a big metal plate behind the sump

I cant raise up the jack if pushed from the front as the handle has no room to move.

Might have to jack up the car to jack up the car. Sills should be fine to jack up one side of the car in that case

I dont mind jacking each side at a time, rather do it that way than damage something.

I sometimes use the rear mount point for the front lower control arm.

I take it you mean where this bolt is

I saw this on the back in front of the rear tire, I take it it would be suitable

err - no. I guess a G3 impreza looks different.

I'm sure that's plenty strong -- but be careful you don't munt any threads or bolt heads.
