Hey all, wanting to replace the lambda/o2 sensor in my 2002 gen 3 outback (bh9, ej251), the exhaust only has 1 x 3wire sensor before the cat.

Ages ago I got a bosch 4 wire universal (really good price, easy as to install!) for my old 2002 forester (I think it had 2 sensors in the exh), wired up 3 of the 4 wires and all was perfect.

Now, does anyone here know if bosch does a universal 3 or 4 wire sensor that might suit the outback??

The current sensor in my car has bosch stamped in it and A24 A7101832210 as a part number, bosch cannot identify it...

The plugs on the sensors on bosch's website really not look like they suit with the exception of this one BUT it has 4 wires..

If anyone could confirm part numbers or anything for me that would be awesome! I've been though many threads after searching and not found anything!

Well for anyone interested or who runs into the same trouble in future, I think I have sorted it..

I found a 3 wire sensor that looked good to replace my front pre cat air/fuel sensor and didn't cost a bucket!
