Hey Guys,

 

Had a browse of previous posts but wanting to see what ppl have replaced their stock HU with. I have a 2002 suby outback. Does it fit nice and snug?

 

Could you guys pls post pics and recommendations for HU. Dont need GPS but want bluetooth and reversing camera

Standard double dins units fit well, dont have any good photos of my old one though. As for choosing one I've always just browsed local stores and see what fit my needs, have a play with the demos and see what interface you like. However I have heard good things about android auto and would like to try it, as my pioneer unit struggles to run spotify well or at all sometimes.

I personally run a Pioneer in my 02 STI.

 

Can you post a pic of the stereo that's currently in the car? 

 

I've installed a Sony single DIN and pocket in an Outback before, the fascia can be tricky to remove - upside down screws secure it in the ashtray x 3, was good fun finding those and removing them.
