I know this may sound a bit odd to some but i really like the look of black steelies on my impreza.. I think they give it a nice sleeper look. Its just the stock ones are a little bit small. I have heard that the toyota camry has the same stud pattern, just not sure about offset. Would spacers be an option for the camry wheels if i could find say some 16 or 17 steelies.. or even spacers on my own 15inch wheels just to fill the guard that little bit more ( although the stock steelies don't have as many slots and dont really look as good as other steelies, and are obiously a few inches smaller than preferred) or are these bad options? any other ideas to get or options would be great.. i don't want to spend a lot on rims but have heard that the steelies can add a lot of weight and hold back performance a bit, any opinions on this? cheers

Camry wheels wont fit without adapters. Subarus are mainly 5x100 so some audi and VW wheels fit.

And yes steelies are really heavy

Camrys are 5x100 too i'm pretty sure.. main reason i'm looking at those are easy to source and can come in the 16inch variety

You may find tyre choice a bit limited in 16inch. Far more choice with 17s.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Foz steelies come in 16 and 17" (MY13-16 ?).

but .. really - lots of suby alloys available fairly cheap. Surely there's a style you like you can paint black

Get some 86/BRZ wheels and paint them black. They go for around $300 secondhand, usually with near new tyres.

Hahaha. But when painted one colour they look good, similar to 2011 WRX wheels. photo-7.jpg

thought i had found just what i was after when i saw these as they were advertised as 5x100 and 17 inch! Turns out they were listed wrong though.. anyway, these are the steelies i am after, the interceptor variety. Not the other types of steel wheels.
