Hey guys just wanting some advice as to buying a stock wrx or a modified one? In my eyes a modded one saves me a lot of $ as I won't need to spend anything on mods like I would if I bought a stock one. However stock ones tend to be more reliable etc. Got 13k to play with, what should I do?

Buying the right modded one will save you come coin. Buying a badly modded one will cost you money fixing it.

Buying a good stock one will be hard and probably expensive. A cheap stock one has probably been neglected or crashed etc.

Also it might be hard to get a modded one registered in your name depending on roadworthy checks or however it works in QLD.

If its tastefully modified I'd consider it. If it looks like something out of fast fours run away. I prefer the stock one that was driven to work by a middle aged bloke, serviced on time with genuine parts.

My cousin bought a CS9 that simply had an MRT tune and exhaust, it was fantastic.

Something with an exhaust and suspension etc is a good idea. Id avoid intakes lest they havent been tuned properly for it
