G'day guys..
Could anyone tell me with absolute certainty if the Oil Separator Plate on the EJ25 2002 Subaru Liberty is made of Plastic,Aluminium or Steel?
Cheers

I'm afraid I cannot meet your requirements of absolute certainty, especially in regards to this topic.

However, I can say that it is more than likely (ballpark 89% chance) that a 2002 EJ25 has an Aluminium OSP.

This mechanic states that they went back to Aluminium in 2000 after the Plastic stint (that was from approx. 1993) and then went to Steel around 2004.

Here is a picture from a NASIOC thread of a 2001 EJ25 and it has the Aluminium OSP.

To find out with (hopefully) absolute certainty, I would call Subaru, give them your VIN and/or Engine Number and they should be able to tell you which OSP your engine has.
