You should get around 11L to 100k's, but depends on how much you use the twin turbos

Mine wouldn't get any better than that - probably worse even.
Just a shocking case of heavy right foot. I'm taking some vitamins for it, hopefully it'll clear up soon.

Let me know how those vitamins go... I reckon I need some aswell!
10-11lt/100ks bout right. I get between 8-13. like everyones said just depends how ya drive.

10-11/100 driving normal.
about 30mins if i give it a flogging. (I dont even want to know how fast it actually uses it when driving it hard...)

there's a thread on this over on ozliberty if your after more results.
turbo or NA will both pull 10-11/100k IF you behave yourself, I've gotten as bad as 25L/100k giving it a hiding tho in an NA, probably done worse than that at some point too.

Your car definitely has problems then, like a leaking fuel line? The B4 wont use that much under heavy throttlethere's a thread on this over on ozliberty if your after more results.

You should probably slow down if your getting numbers like that...
but wait, you have twin rear sway bars, your car can handle it

yay for after market ECU and go faster bits...
The fuel use will change from car to car depending on many factors. Older cars tend to use a little more than the eco friendly tuned for the environment modern car, but that may also be due to wear on parts. 8 - 10 on long trips, 10 - 13 for city/mixed would be a good bet for most makes (unless you have a chicken cooker)
My car (RS) gets 12.5-13.5 on mixed driving while being gentle - 15 or so when doing a cruise :/. The car gets about 8-9 on loong normal trips. Mind you, this was just after I got the car. Remember, when you first get the car, you may have a hard time controlling the throttle the way you want to hold speeds, acceleration etc etc. That will play havoc on your petrol use. When I first got the RS, I was constantly hitting positive pressure just getting to 60kph, now I rarely get past -10 -3 range. I might hit 1 or 2 psi when getting to 100kmph entering the freeway in say 4th (thats at a steady acceleration, but still faster than most 4pots getting around)

I give everything I can give in mine and I do 10 / 11L per 100km currently. Cracked up-pipe included, and a MINES tuned ECU.
3" TBE, td05H running around 11psi due to the cracked up-pipe.

I'm sure I could get more power for less fuel with mine if I took it for a retune. its rich, but atleast its safe
ping = power yeah ??
YBHVE4 16 Jul 2009
yeah if i get one the most ill do is exhaust, CAI and maybe some a dual stage boost controller for fun times.

according to the dyno sheet my Air:Fuel is ranging from just under 15:1 then gets upto 12.3:1 at 120k in 3rd. about right isn't it?
btw, steve mustered a mighty 56.5kWatw
