Guys, Any errors you get on the site, bugs, or anything that doesn't quite look right should be reported in here.

Admin - what's the go with some of the speed issues i've had with the site? Just some reaaallly long load times, not timeouts, just sometimes taking (eg.) 30-40 seconds to load a page. Not all the time by any means, but i've noticed a few slow downs during the day...

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Can anyone explain why everytime I log on2 subyclub 2day I keep getting a Trojan virus trying 2 get thru? "ips_xmlhttprequest" Is what it blocks - apparently this is something 2 do with forums (according 2 yahoo) I had 17x on the main computer in the household. Everytime I log on2 the main page and when a new page/thread is viewed. And keeps coming back multiple times no matter how many times I quarantine and delete. :( I'm not 2 tech minded so please help as this is happening on both my comp and my parents main computer when I use this forum. :(

It wont be the site, it'll be something on your computer. What 'anti-virus' program do you use? Turn its security settings down a bit.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Looks like it is an issue that affects installations of this board software.

I think it may have surfaced today as a result of a software upgrade released by Trend Micro.

Information that I have been able to find at this point in time is scarce, however I will keep an eye on things and let you guys know.

I can confirm that this is NOT a virus / malware. Subyclub is clean and is not injecting any virus/spyware/malware in to your computer(s).

Need to know times it is occurring - it may be related to other activity running on the same link as the forum.

I will have a talk with Paul again to find out what occurred just after 330pm today.

Security patch has been applied, got a fair few bots coming through. Also added a question for user registrations, should be pretty secure now guys.

Hey Guys, Been a few issues with the introduction of DST (Daylight Savings time) here on the East coast where this machine is hosted. It previously was set to Eastern Daylight savings time, however I have reverted this back to standard time. If your time is incorrect on the board, you can adjust it by going to 'Board Settings' through the 'My Controls (control panel)' option up the top of your screen. In my case, I have had to untick 'Automatically detect DST' and then manually tick the box to tell the board that I am currently in DST. My board time is now correct. Dylan

Hai, I've just had a bit of an idea... When a guest comes on the site and searches for something (anything), is that search term logged somewhere? It'd be interesting to see what guests to this site are searching for so we can try and add that specific information. If we see common search terms we know what it takes for users to sign up. At the end of the day, more members = a better suby forum. Idea's? - Alex

wouldn't most of the guest just be people who have not logged in (ie they do not save details), bots, people who are checking it on more than one PC ?
