Interesting question, not a bad one either, I think a lot of people would find stuff on here through Google and the like, but I will see if we can do what you are suggesting somehow, it's a good idea in principal. Regards Paul

wouldn't most of the guest just be people who have not logged in (ie they do not save details), bots, people who are checking it on more than one PC ?

Possibly, but bots won't be using the 'search' function...

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Hey guys. The search function now will write the keyword (s) to the database which we can use to display search stats later on. It is simple, but it shows IP address and search keywords and we will be able to general some statistics from this reporting I'd say. Will let you know.

I would say a cookie issue of some type (maybe a time/date mismatch ??). I had the same issue on both the laptop and PC but reetnering my details sorted it :D

;) Still viewable on users profile and other things - but it has been removed from the thread display. Eventually we will implement a functioning reputation system (Waiting on the next major version of invision) which should be available before Q2 '09.

No sweat... It's not that much of a concern to me anyway, but thought I'd report it just to make sure something wasn't broken.

Can't wait for the rep system to be put into place!

Tried clicking on some pic in that little "Random Gallery Image" thingo. It seems to be displaying thumbnails of images that have been removed.. or something (It errors with a pic from "failrail", it's a silver b4. tried finding it again, but no joy)

I get the same error (non descriptive) when clicking on a link from email to a thread that has been deleted (well, I assume it was). Maybe changing the error from a generic one to include saying the thread may have been move or deleted etc etc

How bizzare. It seems to fetch thumbnails of images in a private album. I will look in to that and have it fixed. Thanks Richo :)

May still be doing this. It displayed a thumbnail for arron.w's car and was greated with the (as I like to call it) "you noob" page

Alright guys. On the list at the moment: - Fix that gallery issue - Create a 'members ID card' accessible through your Control Panel, which you can print off and show at participating shops / stores / workshops for discounts - Search clouds, tags or keywords to increase efficiency of searches. If you have any suggestions feel free to post them up here.

I'd like a shortcut to the last post of the threads listed on the home page :)

Morbo demands a "New Posts" function.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.
