Gday guys..
I am hoping someone can help me with this..
I have a short video of what my 2002 Liberty Wagon is doing ,and i desperately need a pretty solid opinion..
It is a 2.5 EJ25 mated to a 4 speed Auto Box ..
If someone has experienced something like this and had it sorted, please let me know..
As usual..appreciate your time guysAttached File  5C2992BB-747E-4799-A82D-A2AA0F8F17EB.MOV   9.82MB   9 downloads

How long ago was the auto trans serviced?  If it has been serviced then did they replace the filter in the trans?

Had a similar problem with my "other" car (different make), the dealer said there's no fault codes and there were no issues on a test drive plus they said the trans didn't need servicing (Yeah, right).  Finally gave up on the dealer's advice & took it to a trans specialist to have it serviced.  The fella said the trans oil was still okay in colour (mostly red & not brown) and replaced the trans filter.  Most of the issues that plagued my "other" car's trans immediately disappeared after having the trans serviced.  There were still a few niggling issues but they've slowly gone away as the new clean fluid has worked its way through the trans.

If it's been regularly serviced then hopefully the brains trust on this site has a few good pointers.

Appreciate the reply NQR..
The Trans was serviced a few months ago by myself..
I changed the oil and filter..but I didn’t change the sump gasket.
It has also has a Trans treatment called Seafoam Trans Tune..
Didn’t really seem to have a lot of impact..maybe 10-15% better.
But not enough for me to be comfortable going up hills and even a quickish take off..
That video was filmed on the flat..uphill is even worse..
Had the car looked at,and no fault codes, and the mech even thought it ran pretty well..I just looked at him..lol
There is something not right and it’s making me want to sell a car that I actually love..
Cheers mate
