Hey guys,
My B4 has gone into ‘limp mode’.
Put on the diagnostic machine.
Reads ‘O2 sensor Bank1’.
Wondering if anyone knows for sure whether this is the o2 sensor in the exhaust where the two pipes meet or the air/fuel ratio sensor near the manifold of the secondary turbo (sometimes they are grouped together on these machines) have asked subaru and they can seem to tell me which one it is??
As far as Im aware theres just those two sensors I would be interested in or is there another A/F sensor near the manifold of the primary turbo as well?
Subaru quote $900 for a genuine sensor apparently anyone have any suggestions for an aftermarket one that actually works, dont think I need to pay $900 for an o2 sensor

Bank 1 is the front AFR sensor (22641AA090) and it's located roughly below the battery.
FYI ...The turbo located on the passenger side is your primary turbo.
A lot of people have had problems with cheap aftermarket sensors and OEM is definitely the best option.
This cheaper sensor has a 12mth warranty so it may be worth a try

Awesome, thanks mate, I had a feeling it would be the Air/Fuel ratio sensor and not the O2 sensor. Ill check out those you suggested. Cheers
