G'day all,
A family friend I grew up with seems to have toasted their H6 Gen4 outback.
Long story short it got hot on the freeway, they pulled over. Someone eventually pulled over to help out, topped up the coolant and they were able to drive the outback home.
Once home it wouldn't start again. It seems there's coolant/water in the oil.
They're located somewhere down near Roweville in Vic.
Questions:
- thoughts on replacing head gaskets or sourcing a create engine to replace it with?
- anyone able to recommend a Subaru mechanic in this area?
- any thing else we can look at/should know?
I don't know how many km this outback has travelled.
Cheers
Bennie

ok, water in oil is not confirmed at this point...
No one can help out with recommending a subaru specialist in the Roweville area?
Cheers
