I am looking for a new car, and the Levorg has been my dream for a few years - but after a test drive of this (and an Impreza) I find my left leg really uncomfortable because of the left footrest position. (I had ACL replacement recently)

Poking it briefly, the footrest looks quite hollow though... seems like it could almost be pushed in without too much hassle, going almost flush with the rest of the footwell area

Does anyone have any experience with removing the left footrest?

Would love to hear if this is possible.

when you say you removed it, did you get rid of the whole box that was there?

what did you find behind it?

would love some help because everything else about the car is great

You'll probably find that it's some sort of rubber cover with a pressed metal plate behind it.

If you go to partsouq.com and plug your VIN in there, search through the interior parts section you might find an exploded view of the foot rest and how it's mounted. You may get your answer about removing or modifying it from viewing that diagram if it's there.

Cheers
