Greetings beautiful people!

 

I own a 2000 Gen 3 Subaru Liberty RX 2.5 Wagon, and I am looking to replace a muffler and perform other (mostly aesthetic) modifications to my little beast.

 

Unfortunately my Subaru is currently being loaned to my Uncle and I am unable to take photos of my stock exhaust system. I thereby was wondering if anyone of you brave souls would kindly crawl underneath a Gen 3 Liberty and snag a few shots? I'm interested in the muffler locations, where I could possibly install hangers, what size/bolt pattern he flanges are, and what diameter the piping is!

 

In addition, are there any recommendations for a head unit/stereo for my car?

 

Furthermore, I was wondering if anybody in either the Sydney or Wollongong area would be interested in selling or recommending me a store to buy a Bonnet Protector/Hood Guard (and any variation of those words) for my car? (Please see attached)!

The Gen3 is a great rig in my book, the RX especially.

I can't help you out with the exact exhaust details you're chasing. I recommend you check out some build threads and see what's been done.

Definitely get a set of UELs on that exhaust. You'll thank yourself for it

I had UEL's on my RX2.5 with a basically straight pipe and it sounded bloody awesome, imo. If a tad obnoxious. Lol. 





As you can see, real loud burble and a wild snap to it. Kinda miss it some days, you never missed it driving by.
