Line 1 mod is a load of crap in my opinion. It's basically putting a restrictor pill in line 1 to slow the opening of the intercooler control valve. People claim it reduces the VOD.... the flat spot or drop in power/ boost at the point where the secondary turbo start to pump boost into the intercooler. No point Delaying the opening of the icv, get the boost flowing I say.
