nah that was the Lowenbrau at the Rocks. This was at the Barvarian Beer Cafe at Manly

haha i bet!! i lived on in for a month straight when we went to the world cup in germany 2006. in 60 days i had one hangover which was the morning after the day we arrived (maybe the WORSE hangover i've ever had in my life). After that it was smooth sailing

Well, that didn't take long to report back.
It's....'ok'....you're right, I was expecting a little more but not a terrible beer I guess. Probably wouldn't buy it again.

...... haha... see how it goes
Ran a little low on shiz so I dumped 200g of Dark Malt Dry Extract into the brew too!! hahahahaha... this is going to be one odd ******* brew.
Wort tasted good though
very bitter and as you said Nik, the cascade left a really nice hoppy oily aftertaste.
SG was a little dissapointing, I was expecting something high as all ****... but it only made just on 1.040 :S I am thinking that my mash might not have being as efficient as I would have liked.
Beersmith reckons 60.8 IBUs
10g Nelson at 10m
25g Cascade at 0m
