Table for 4 has been booked at Monk for 7pm under Brett.
Coconut stout is good according to the brewers. Also they may have an early tapping of their Marzen.

Sig worthy.

Had the Brewdog IPA is dead 4pk last night. AMS if you haven't had this I'd strongly recommend it.
It's great to identify the different hops characteristics.

Sig worthy.

Cellarbrations Carlisle have them on special for $24.
I actually really liked the Sorachi Ace one. NS was my least prefered. Didn't realise till this morning that they were 7.5%.

Sig worthy.

Just working my way through Stone brewing's Sublimely self-righteous ale. Big hops, lots of bitterness, lots of body, 8.7%. But .....it's just a big beer. I think I'm over these big outlandish beers.

Sig worthy.

Hi,

But .....it's just a big beer. I think I'm over these big outlandish beers.

Welcome along! I hear you!!! I've also come to the conclusion that it's not hard to make a big beer interesting, it's making something sub 5% interesting that requires more skill.

Cheers,
Nik

Just finished one of those German Smoked beers you guys were on about earlier in this thread. I actually quite enjoyed it. I think my palate is coming around to rauchbiers. Mmmm bacon.

I've also got Brewdog/Stone Bashah and Lagunitas IPA for later tonight.

And I had Temple's Saison last week. It's not a patch on Du Pont IMO. In fact I found it to be ....well....meh.

Sig worthy.
