Hi guys, i am new to this forum, just recently got myself a 03 liberty, but thought it would look better with a mesh grill than than honeycomb thingy. But when i had a look today its all plastic that cover grill, so now i am just asking if any1 knows how to change the grill for the Gen III as there is one DIY for the Gen 2. thanks in advance Chainber

hey mate, welcome not 100% but pretty sure you have to cut the honeycomb out (or lay the mesh on top ) anyways, enjoy!

Id go to a wreckers and pick up a used grill then hack into it, cut the honeycomb out with a dremel or similar. Then get your mesh and mold to shape , id probally secure it with a strong adhesive.

I Guess the only way is to just cut all the freaking plastic off the honeycomb. the question is that will the Gen III have room like the Gen II to put some molding past on... chainber
