Well I've had the car back for just over a week now. Its been off the road since April 19th. Have been driving my little Hyundai Excel (aka Teh Golfball) so am still getting used to the Subaru again.

Took the car out to the drags last night to see how I would go. I'm pretty happy with my results as humidity was extremely high so that had a factor in the top speeds. Car hasn't had a tune done since being back on the road either.

Frank did a video of my second run too.

Once again, still getting used to the car. It feels nothing like how it used to hahahaha. All runs were done with a 1st gear launch. Franks told me to try a 2nd gear launch next time to see what thats like. Bring on Wednesday hahahahaha.

PS. Where my Motorsport Forum for me to *****??????

Now now, give a few of us a chance Alex.
How good does it feel to do a 6500 dump launch and not worry about breaking anything expensive?

Great stuff Jarrod. It looked like an absolute rocket off the line! Did it take long for your guts to catch up?

Yeah, head was thrown back pretty violently. Actually snapped my E-Toll holder. As the car launched, my E-toll came flying back, with me thinking WTF????? I'm still using the 5 speed clutch, pressure plate and flywheel so I'm hoping there is some more left in it when the 6 speed setup goes in. Tyres are also pretty crap. LingLongs from Japan. They were on the rims when I bought them with full tread so I'll waste these first. Franks offered me use of his track tyres when he gets them so that'll be different as well.

I think James' best time was a 12.52????? Not much at all in one sense, however, still not up there with my 12.39. Shame I missed the coldest part of the year but. Would have been good to race in some 5 degree air temps out there.

Hahahah, you don't spray the FMIC with methanol. It's injected into the intake manifold to reduce charge temperature.
