I always used to use regular Shell. Decided to try BP Ultimate for about 6 weeks (it is also the closest to my house). But it hurt my pocket too much and was unnessecary in the RX.
Ive settled for Shell V-Power now and works well.
(EDIT: ...plus Shell takes FlyBuys!!!)

Mum filled her up last week unknowingly with regular unleaded and i could really notice the difference!

I use Mobile 8000. Only cos i can just swipe my card at the pump, no waiting in a que.
If it's broke use a cable tie.

whatever 98 I can find, try to stick to shell or bp, caltex my 3rd option. Made a small difference in the car (placebo?), but the bike isn't really fussy.

If I use anything but 98 of any kind it goes pop. JDM badness. I just use whatever is nearest when the price is right. They are all the same. BP is Mobil. Shell has additives and Caltex make their own 98. My car runs the same no matter what. The weather makes more difference.

I use Shell regular unleaded mainly because I get 4c off per litre in conjunction with shopping at Coles and also because they accept FlyBuys. I'll run V-Power once a month to keep it clean. I use to run V-Power all the time when I first got the car but once I learnt it makes little/no difference on my particular car, I stopped using it. The oil crisis of '08 didn't help either...

I don't get the point of this poll. I've got 4 cars all using different fuel types.
As Tony Montana would say:

Then when you get the money, you get the power.
Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

Just vote according to what car you drive the most and what you put in it.

I think its interesting to see the different fuel types and such in a poll like this. Certainly confirms that a lot of you drive turbo varients hence requiring the better stuff...

Not really.

If the poll was only asking owners of turbo-charged Subaru's what type of fuel they use, it would have given a better indication.

At the moment, it doesn't differ between turbo/na cars.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

My point precisely.
There's no one question for any one type of car or fuel or the fuel it runs.
How long's a piece of string.
