So here is my other unfinished project that i wanted to finish for summer... last year.
Havent had this one for long.
What i've done:
Complete strip down
Full sandblast, I tried doing it myself but it took wayyyy too long, so anyone who needs bits sand blasted let me know cos i bought a big pressure pot sand blaster!
Welded Rust in floor and other bits
Started priming and filling
Fully rebuilt subframes and painted a nice glossy black!
8.4" disk brakes, and new brake lines. Belive it or not, is swapped cooper s callipers in need of rebuild for rebuilt callipers, and new rotors
Plans:
Finish body work, paint marine blue
paint roll bar and front and rear bars white Wheels white.
Some engine laying around, or maybe the 1360 outta the mini
Redo seats...if you can call em seats.
and maybe a radio install
Heres some pics.
Enjoy
First Day:
First week:
About a month in:
Sand Blast Attempt:
Off to the pros:
Back From the Pros:
And thats all i have of the body work i stopped taking photos, but im not that far from there apart from some welding and filling and priming!
So some of mecanical
Engine out on subframe, easier to lift the body off than set up the block and tackle and lift it out
What an engine with worn rings looks like:
Subframes:
Annnd thats all, i have alot more photos if anyone is inteested, i might make a whole album of them all on photobucket, maybe
Enjoy :)
Just writing this makes me want to finish it! but i just have to get motivated!

Looks to me like you have a bit of work to do Adam, this plus the Minis.
Ever thought of moving to Magnetic Island? The place is crawling with 'em?
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Moke FTW! I had a 1275 "export", was good fun. More time on moke, less on the minis, Vtec it!
PS. union jack the mini, its a cliché but it looks ace.

Hurry up and finish it!! The Moke's are so much fun. I've got one sitting down at the beach house. It's had a full reco and it's RAD.
