What do you guys/girls use to browse the interwebz? Until today, I have mainly used Firefox because it seemed fast and easy to use (at work and at home) But this morning i started using Chrome and found it to be even quicker! (have had it downloaded for ages, but never really got into it) also i use Safari on the iphone Vote and Discuss (Yes, It's not a very interesting poll but you think of a better one) :flag_of_truce:

FF is my preference - its where all my very organised bookmarks are!
I have IE7 at work and it is the worst browser evaar. I forever have to restart [the browser] as it just stops loading...?
Safara is the standard and default one on the iTouch.

I used to use firefox then I got sick of it being really slow and slowing down my entire PC. Then I tried chrome, which fails on a lot of pages. Now I am all smiles and all teeth using IE8, I honestly cannot fault it.

I mainly use FF on my Mac, but sometimes when i notice FF slowing down i switch to Safari... I'm waiting for chrome to be released for Mac so i can see what all the fuss is about

I use FF. Its reliable and has a lot of neat apps and such :) I used Chrome for a couple of months and although its blisteringly quick - it would fail on certain pages such as Java, video streaming and accessing Hotmail. The latest Internet Explorer I have on my Windows7 is excellent, but I still prefer FF...

Firefox. It works for every site i go to, unlike chrome last time i tried it, and i like the add ons. Been several months since i gave chrome a whirl though and now Xmarks is available for it i may give it a go again.

Xmarks is ace, syncs bookmarks across different pc so i always have all my bookmarks at work and on my second pc at home (although its availabe for all the major browers now), Netusage so i can see my data quota usage without logging into the ISP page, a tab manager so i can configure exactly how/where tabs open from links/bookmarks etc, Ghostery that shows any web bugs on a page, Adblock plus, which blocks adds incredibly well and simple stuff like Australian dictionaries for spell check. If you can think of it there is prob an add on for Firefox that does it.

:)

One I like is a bandwidth meter which I hover my mouse over and it shows me how much of my monthly quota I've used and a string of stats relating to it are listed. ie; the maximum I could DL per day until the end of the period. Works well :)

Also the obligatory DL accelerator/schduler.

Theres heaps of other stuff that you don't need but its nice to know its all there.

Chrome shits over everything, especially IE7/8. I have had a few minor issues with some pages not displaying perfectly, but no real issues and i've been using it pretty much since the day it came out (literally). The management page we use at work only works in IE though, which sucks ass.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Hi, With Chrome it is important not to leave a page that has a flash ad running constantly on it, overnight. That murders the computer. Cheers, Nik

I loved Firefox until a release a few months ago that had a memory leak and it turned to shit from there. Google chrome is great! I have used it since and it's never crashed, It's fast, Scales well on older computers. And IE, Never been a fan.

FF kept bugging me to D/L the new version over the last week or so. I was hesitant as the last time i did, FF crashed evey time i opened it (running Vista OS) and i lost all my very organised bookmarks and had to start again in an earlier version. But did some research and looks like they have fixed all the bugs and its working well. Going to have to look into all the new add-ons as there are thousands of them!! ...and hopefully there is no more crashing!!
