Well, this is pretty much a cut and paste of when my car had the conversion done. Might see if I can get some pics From Alan and Miles when they do the 6 speed and new driveline conversion next week.

Enjoy.

J

Pic Of the Dash. Asked Al if it was possible to use this cluster in my car. But due to it being mechanical vs my car being electronic it wouldn't work. However the Version 4 cluster will so i got one of them

Next was the halfcut itself.

Now the good stuff, the motor out and ready to go in. Intake manifold is back after being sent away to get repsrayed.

Posted Image

And heres the rear shot of the motor.

Posted Image

Coilovers are in and front rotors now.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Car is now a little bit lower all round.

Posted Image

Motor is in now too

Posted Image

Dash and wiring are out. Man my car needs a good clean inside.

Posted Image

RX harness stripped of original ecu and auto wiring, V3 ecu wiring stripped out of V3 harness and overlayed onto RX vehicle harness ready to be joined. Glad Al knows what hes doing. F@#k that.

F**king sexy mate. Can't wait to see how it goes. Will you take it back to the track? What other mods, other than the previously mentioned do you have planned?

I believe he's only adding a bit more weight.
Would have been cheaper to buy a few bricks or even steal a few boulders from your quarry Jarrod.

Brendan, Its a V3 STi. Best flowing non AVCS heads. Most aggressive cams. Forged internals from the factory. Biggest turbo fitted to a factory 2.0ltr motor (Vf23). So tell me, for a street driven car, WTF else does he need :D. Well other than the 6spd TM obviously.

Paul's pretty much summed it up Brendo. Frank keeps reminding me of it being a freak of a motor due to it coping with the, how to put things - carefully thrashed, treatment I have given it so far.

yeah sorry boys, live and learn.. I can tell you that the VN 5L alloy heads flow 500hp out the box, and that the L34 cast iron heads with max porting can flow about 380-400hp.. but fugg me when it comes to Subaru fiddlies. :) slowly but surely.. I've figured out all the crap about the B4, now im learning outside the square

How long on Ozlib, and it took two days here for you to learn about the Godly V3? :). Offtopic: EFI heads + roller cam and rockers FTMFW, however what you didn't say was that the EFI heads can sap low end torque in a carburetored setup ;).

heheh No probs bro! let them know your 5L knowledge now.. and as for Paulo, Bottom end torque may be lost a little, but can be fixed with better ground cams for bottom end, and a smaller carby, wouldn't go bigger than a 750dp, or on the L34 heads with some big boy work on them, a 1060 dominator is sex.. sorry, is this Subyclub? I though I was on www.Aussiemadev8ownsallwhenworkisdonetothem.com LOL
