Aek,

Good to see it lives mate. I don't think you've had this car running since I joined SC. Lol.

What's the plans for the old Haltech mate? Might know someone who is interested.

Cheers,
Shazza

But from what I've read a SC cruise isn't really complete without an aek breakdown. Tow trucks must be going out of business faster than a Greek politician

Looking good Aek.
One thing I noticed was the radiator brackets are not isolating the radiator from the car body. Just try to avoid electrolysis in the radiator.
If you drill out the brackets big enough to take some thick rubber firewall grommets and because you already have rubber between the bracket and the radiator that should do the trick.
As Tony Montana would say:
In this country, you gotta make the money first.
Then when you get the money, you get the power.
Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

Haha oh yeah this thread :P

EMS is all wired up, new altenator installed, tacho wired in, new fuel lines in (will need to replace with Aluminium ones after run in), new coil packs in, new gauges wired up, new battery, just need to wire up the speed sensor.

The plan is then to tow it over to XSflow for a final wiring tidy up, re-route the fmic piping, change turbo, swap exhaust over and tune. Which reminds me, I need to organize a trailer

Thanks for the heads up too Frank, I'll get onto that once we get it back to Chris's

Seems about right :P

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

I don't know how 'well' you know Andy at Ex Co but we have a car trailer that sits there everyday and gets used once a month if that, it might be worth asking but??

I can't wait to see this car going and on the road Aek. Gen 2 Sedan <3

Did a bit of tinkering today..

Posted Image

Cold start sorted, she's fires instantly and idles like a champ.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Took it for a 200m drive up the road and around the round about which was nice. it was surprisingly smooth considering the crude tune it's currently running.

Got a few little issues here and there but nothing major (which is VERY unusual), mainly tidy up and a few minor wiring fixes. The main pita job left is changing all the fuel and coolant lines in the engine bay.

I'm hoping it will be ready to drive up to Cromer on Thursday night where we'll road tune it and get it ready to head to the dyno.

So yeah.. hunter valley 2016 is looking good
