Thanks.. very re-assuring Alex!, as long as it's not a subaru engine powering it!

The Euro had 145 megawatts of NA Power.. gotta give them credit, Subaru only got 40 more with a Turbo!

Here's a bit of more info.

Your auto runs VF38 turbo. It's quiet small, even compared to the manual GT's TD04HLA.

The gen4's run twin scroll turbos with equal length headers.

The auto made 180kw 330Nm and manual 190kw 350Nm.

they have 316mm x 30mm front rotors and 290 rears.

The 'prefacelift' model ran from 04-06.

They didn't come with SI drive, which is a gimmic anyway.

The seats i found are the best seats in the Liberty range (better then the 07-09's and better then the american bench's in the '10s as they are way more supportive.

Hamish, in all honesty you just answered every single question I had about the gen IV lib I'm picking up, I wasn't sure if it had the SI drive, nor if it had comfortable seats..

Does the front seat have driver position memory or am I pushing my luck?

Why do the autos always get jipped when it comes to parts? I want the bigger turbo! Then again the vf38 would probably be bigger than both the turbos on the b4.. They were microscopic but created so much power.

Does the GT have the 5 speed auto I'm reading about? (ps the one I bought is the "premium pack")

Premium pack came with 13 speakers mcintosh, leather sunroof. optional satnav.

No memory seats but is electric. 5 speed auto, 5 speed manual.

I would recommend going for the Bilstein that I organised a group buy ages ago for which should be still running as the stock GT suspension is soft and crap! $550 delivered for brand new billies.

$1000 for New bilsteins and specB wheels. :yahoo:

The one good thing about the autos is that you can tune them for low RPM power.

Tanglca's GT is a fine example and is getting 10psi by 2200rpm and 13psi by 2500rpm.

Whats your fuel economy like dude.. (in real terms) i.e, how many K's from a full tank on average?

His GT looks so fugging awesome.

REally depends on how i drive and if i drive into town.

I bought it at 59,000kms 6 months ago (8.8l/100km) so if you drive like a granny you can achieve that but normal driving fetches 10-11, pushing it through hills, 13+?

Jump onto liberty.asn for some mod advice etc with the GT's
