fm intercooler piping now complete, all in 2.5inch mandrel bends. now its all back together with the 5 stud conversion fitted, well worth the money highly recommend. so for the first time in around 3 months its back on the ground n drove it for the first time on the weekend, unfortunaly only up n down my street (private road) hopefully get it to the track in a few weeks with the exhaust system complete custom 3 inch dump n straight threw with only a flexy sounds the goods.
the wrx powered vortex has just made its first test day at the track. and am very happy to report it went extreamly well. with only a 2 bugs. the first was the speed sensor as i had no way of testing before i just wired it up how i thought but after the second lap i couldnt pull more than 4400rpm there bouts, was prob a good thing to start with, after half a day of resetting the computer and studying my diagrams a bit more it seemd i had the wrong output on the ecu side where it would normal go into the wrx cluster i found there where two wires the same colour tried the second one n after completing a second lap without limp mode woolla it was fixed, as for the wiring diagrams both wrx and vortex the pinouts where corect but wire colours different. also had to make a small adjustment on the clutch pedal to give it more freeplay.
the rear wheel drive setup has workd out well its definalty a handfull can get wheel spin in 3rd gear with standard tyres its so much fun thou, going to have to look into some semi slicks very soon for the next track day,
future plans get more serious with racing will be looking at supersprints and improved production and will be looking at a 6 point cage.

In this country, you gotta make the money first.
Then when you get the money, you get the power.
Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

Also I gotta mention it, what happened to 9 & 3? You do one of the most important corners of the track at 6 and also the most technical part of the circuit with one hand
