This my bike. total cost, free. I found the frame on the side of the road one night in summer hill. the wheels and seat were on another bike i found in a council clean up. the handle bars are from a bike jai and i found in the bushes near his house. Pulled them all apart, cleaned the bits I wanted then put it back together. Removed the front brake and speed gear. It's now single speed with a freewheel. I've always wanted one of these frames as number 1, i'm shorts and number 2, i only ride my bike when i'm drunk. ladies frame is good for both reasons.

I was tossing up getting one of these bikes.. but tbh now that i think about it.. i enjoy having gears, i enjoy shocks and i ride off-road and do real MOUNTAIN biking, much rather drive to the hills and do some down hill.

Thats just a cheap bike but thats the kind of thing i think i'll get.. stuff riding on the road lol that what my car or motorcycle is for

i know what you mean, just on the road it uses like 2x the energy each pedal just makes you go up and down lol.

Wont be for a while morgs, got other more important things.. might just get my current MTB going, bit of a banger, but with a lil bit of a clean and service it should be ok.

I want to convert mine into a more road friendly one.

How much would a new set of smooth tyres cost me? Or would I need new skinnier rims as well?
