Got my bike today.

It was a bday pressie from mum, dad and the Mrs but with dad being in NZ this morning and mum being at work this afternoon, I got to finally open it tonight and assemble it as the sun went down.
Meant I couldn't properly have a ride (only up and down the drive). Regardless, I absolutely love it :)

So far I've taken off the wheel reflectors and put on BMX Wellgo pedals which I somehow managed to get thrown in with the bike because the original pedals are just too damn small! There is a 10 weeks waiting list for black ones so I got clear. Which look pretty cool :)

Will be doing a bit of night riding (to and from soccer training, etc) so have taken the punt on some LED head and tail lights from eBay. Expecting them next week sometime.

nice , did you have to pay any extra for the clear pedals ?? they didnt have the brwak cable silver ties on mine i got rorted :P and the option with the seat post clamp , also FYI you can flip the head stem around to have - 10 degrees more agressive riding position ..

i made an update with mine today 45mm x 31.8 radius stem and 31.8 radius fat bars =] oh and the new pedals which were ment to be grey but look khaki haha

i can do wheelies now coz my stem is shorter and teh handle bars now are more centered with the forks , those jumps and skids is because they have it on fixed soon and u lean forward and stop peddling the wheel locks up , iv ordered heavy duty toe straps and need my rear tire fliped on the rim because its a directional tire

I don't know how they can ride that fast on public roads without a helmet.
Surely it's illegal here?

Just thought i'd post this up.

http://www.jensonusa.com/

Good stuff reasonably cheap. All the big brands.

My bro got a crankset $105 from Jenson last year and Fedex got it from the warehouse in California to his doorstep in Newcastle in 4 days for only $30.

p.s that crankset usually costs about $300

Cheers
