im sure you'd reconsie the scoop (GT Forry) thats a CB radio in the console (smaller than cd deck fits perfect, a cd player would hang out a bit)
and monster taco is **** factor ;-) vroom vroom

it has a CD player in the glovebox with 6" in boxes behind the seats.

I have a EJ25 if you're interested.

Cheers,
Shazza

hmm very tempting.. im going to run this engine till it pops (might force-feed it) then will look at either the EJ20 (non-turbs) or EJ25

needs a liftkit first haha and a rollbar to mount a few HID spotties i was given (read pinched) from my old man :-)

Nice :D

I have heard that these have a nasty habit of warping in the body if they are run with a turbocharged 2L in them Tony, is there any truth behind that?

I can understand why you would look at another motor, an EJ25 would be ideal I think for this car - enough torque to get you around and no turbo lag!

Let me know if you want it man, it has a full loom, tailshaft and diff too.

Going super cheap. :drinks:

PM me for details.

that sounds very plausible as the brumby is what... 20 years old.. but in saying that they do come out 1.8 turbod

In love with this car since you first posted it up a couple of weeks ago

Had no idea of its rebirth from originally being a stocker on eBay. A successful build by the looks of it!

UPDATE TIME!

now has a 2" Lift in, Roll Bar, Roof Lights, rear light, 5th Sunny with Buckshot (spare), modified the front bar more to sit closer to the body, Winch mounted behind/in bullbar, made myself a "sports" muffler and tip.. but center section has rusted out , taken all the slop out of the shifter and modified it to suit the lift, new longer brakelines, new longer rear shocks, racing steeringwheel, twin bucketseats.

trying to figure out the front suspension to get a bit more lift

also entered the Boonah show over the weekend (a B&S type thing)
had half a dozen blokes come up and had a chat as they owned/own a brumby, and loved what i had done to it. i didnt win any prizes (best ute etc) but got chosen to compete in the Gymkhana (six cars out of 60) so had a ball with that. and had alot of admirers doing the victory laps/parade laps

Where did you get the 2" lift from? The tyres or the shocks/springs?

it has a pidily little front strutbrace that acts as holding the spare wheel up (yeh wow  i know haha)
snorkel would be good if i could find a neat and tidy way of doing it.. maby off a Suzuki or something
i just changed the fronts to the factory replacement KYB's (they dont have the adjustable height.. but are high enough)

Wow nice job mate, brumby is looking awesome! How does she go doing a gymkhana??

cheers buddy, did well at the Gymkhana.. i did cheat by dropping it into 4WD :P where the commodore utes where sliding out i could rip through it.. but in saying that some bald tires would of made it so much more fun, the big muddies wouldn't let you slide it

Where did you get the 2" lift from? The tyres or the shocks/springs?

it has the 2" body lift blocks + the 14" wheels with 27" muddies, + have the rear torsion bar wound up a little to keep it even/ back a little higher than the front

Not much of strutbrace eh :sarcastic:

You could probably knock up a snorkel out of a bit of stainless steel pipe. Maybe exhaust pipe or something.
Im sure you can buy it by the metre>
