Love snowboarding.

I'm a total noob, being only once last year in NZ, but I'm starting to build my collection of gear.

I went in 2007 with school. Loved it, been wantin to go back ever since. Bought a boat and wakeboard for summer and love it. Was planning a nz trip with mates this year but they pulled out. So looks like i'll be staying local to do it. I too wanna start my own collection of gear. Where should i look at?

Aek has the hookups mate, also check out dogfunk and trusnow, online US sies but they are cheap! Also with the dollar as it is... No reason not to.

I should be hitting the slopes a few times this year, going to brave it with the broken wrist lol
Going to take it easy though.
Got canada planned for end of year/ early next year.

Got gloves with built in wrist guards?

They should help!

Also, strapping should help.

I'm going to strap the sh1t out of my knee...

daim man ive been itchin to try wakeboarding for years! one of my best mates even has one but havent found the time! :(

in regards to building a collection- where do u live? theres a great store at Rockdale if your nearish.. i love wondering through there round snow season
ive got a Burton Un-Inc goes great mountain or park... id suggest (brand wise) Burton > LibTech > DC > nitro > etc... if u go a park board, be careful cos some will be shithouse and 'chatter' wen ur going fast = terrible.. ...:)

AND dont forget those lifesavers :P helmet!!! ...how many of u ride with a helmet??

EDIT: i wuld probably be dead without my helmet.. always have worn one (besides wen mucking around on a small jump out back of the lodge..). no im not kidding, ive been concussed a cuple times, hit my head on tree branches, rocks, tumbles etc... really think id have at the Very Least brain damage.. where em i say. they arent 'uncool'.. besides, fairly sure being able to speak ok is 'cooler' than dribbling.. (lol)
