Probably a stupid question, but just curious to know. Is there much of a weight difference?

Just wondering whether there's any noticeable performance difference between Liberty 3.0r Spec B Manual Sedan vs Manual Wagon??
Probably a stupid question, but just curious to know. Is there much of a weight difference?
Redbook should be able to get you that info.
And I said redbook. Not redtube!.

check out the weights on them, but from memory I believe the wagon is a touch heavier, and girlie-er cause it's a wagon.
Real men drive sedans.
(awaiting all the wagon-boys to start flaming)

Yeah, well, I am still torn between the two, sedan or wagon. I love the Sedan! But then I see a wagon on the road and I love the wagon...then the sedan, then the wagon. Have a rugrat on the way anyway, so I think the wagon will be more dare I say it...practical.

Wagons ftw!
But it makes sense that the wagon is heavier and therefore a touch slower.
I think it comes down to what you want to do with it. Ie if you want to use the hatch area for a certain purpose.
I'd go with the sedan, but the wagons also look very nice. It'd be a hard decision for me.
All comes down to your decision though.

Wagons add more practicality to your car. Liberty wagons look hot as well.
Outbacks look nice also, albeit in the Bowls Club car park.
If thy tint is dark and thy wheels are black thou car be declared b11tchin'
So you can run it on 6psi with an rx fuel pump?

Although there were 2 reasons i liked the wagon
It looked awesome (however the sedan looks good as well), also the practicality of having rear seats that fold down. Having to use the a Ford Laser to carry a bike and large items when i had the B4 meant a sedan was never an option for the Gen 4.

Real men drink beer, correct?
How many cases of beer can you fit in a sedan?
Now, how many can you fit in a wagon?
Check. Mate.

FURKENBANG!I think the question you need to ask yourself is this.

If you are worried about weight, you should drop a spec to the 3.0R, which in wagon form is 15KG lighter than the Spec.B sedan. If creature comforts are your thing, be safe in the knowledge that a wagon of same spec (spec. will only be 15kg heavier than the sedan variant.
Cheers,
Nik
