1: Rear Spacers (20mm)
I added these just to give the car a little bit more of an aggressive look and believe it or not it actually added a little bit to my handling

2: HID Kit (6000K)
Thought i would install some nice new lights to give the car a better look at night !

3: Sway Bars (20mm Front, 22mm Adjustable Rear )
Bought these about a week ago when i got a nice pay check they were a bit painful to install because i didnt have access to a car lift. As you would imagine, a lot of swearing and cursing (some of those bolts were on real tight !!). However they work wonders now for my cars body roll and im im pretty happy with the install.

Yeah, so thats it for now, i think im buying some coil overs very soon and would appreciate some input on installing those as im not too experienced with suspension.

With the swaybar install it's easier to to install with the car on the ground (if you can get under) or with the car on jackstands and then put a scissor jack underneath the brake hub/ anywhere you can get the clamp to jack up the suspension.
This releases alot of the pressure on the swaybar. Bit late now but good for future reference.

No idea mate, are the bolt for the mounts tightened properly? Did you use the grease etc supplied? After installing mine, it had Sweet F all movement and didn't make any noise..
Yeah they are definately tight and pretty greased up. I have ball joints that connect to them..maybe these are loose ?

20mm spacers are a bit over the top and can be dangerous, you are putting extra stress on the wheel studs and potentially can cause them to break.
if you want better handling, especially while you are still young and new to driving get some driver training, it does actually work.

Thanks for the advice, but thats what the sway bars are for, the spacers are purely for looks. Do you think i should take them off though ?Hi,

I'm pretty sure wheel spacers are illegal and if you get in a prang your fooked.
Other than that, the rear sway bar is a really good upgrade!

Yeah im planning to get some BC coil overs but until i get some wider wheels im keeping the rear spacersIMO take the spacer off, sell them to some idiot on eBay and put it towards something like some better suspension..

Well, not just baby jesus, but your bearings, hubs and studs, potentially causing a wheel to fall off. Food for thought.
But finally, its refreshing to see an actual build thread, where someone is wielding a spanner. Chucking in LEDs isn't a build.

Does Changing your springs qualify as build?
A threads a thread... I didn't know what else to call it.

What do you want the coilovers for?? Ive had two sets in mine and some modded billies aswell?
If you want them just for the street, a cheap set of BC's or K-sports (i liked these ones!,walts
has my old ones) will suffice....but if you want them for the track at all, spend a bit extra
Bilstein PSS9s
I got a price on some Bilstien coilovers a while back, they dont have PSS9's for the gen3...
But once i heard the price i went to Teins lol
I think they were PSS (so not as crazy as the PSS9) and they were over $5500!!!
But ya get what ya pay for i suppose??
