I posted a similar thread on OZFoz, with a few responses. I thought a few Foz boys here may shed some light. I get tons of wind noise around the window seals. I've sprayed the rubber seals with silicon spray which worked for a while as I think when you wind the windows up it tends roll he seals up too. Then I put some door seal foam ( Bunnings FTW) in the rubber groove to expand the seals and seal against the glass which worked well too. I thought I'd ask for some different ideas from the subuclub brains trust.

It's Mary's car, so if anything, she needs to slow down.
OH, BTW, at least she can drive quickly. :P :D

There is a reason Subaru put a seven speaker sound system into Foresters.
BTW Frank no wind noise in mine yet.

Small price to pay for pillar-less doors I say B) The only time the rubber seals cause wind noise is at higher speeds. Other than that, the only wind noise I get are from the wing mirrors. Fold the mirrors, and the noise goes away :D Although I wouldn't recommend it :P

Silicon spray, or is changing the rubbers an opption? but id say it be $$$ to do that and in a few years the noise will be there.

P.S dont lean on the door as it bends the hinges and the door can be out of alighment and u get noise from that.

I did use silicon spray and it worked OK. It may need some packing out of the seal with foam and a shot of the spray. Thanks for the opinions boys.
