Howdy all,

As title states, I am after a Clutch Master Cylinder for my MY02 B4, just seeing if anybody might have one spare or know of someone selling.

Being a B4 it needs to have the damper underneath the reservoir like in this pic:

If anybody is able to help out then awesome, this is just the first option before I bite the bullet and go direct to Subaru.

no idea what the damper is for but the rs/rx impreza have it on them too if you cant find a b4 one

May I ask what the dampener is for?

Honestly I am not too sure, everybody I speak to that deal with clutch's seem to think its a big deal, something about pressure? I'm no expert but I would assume that if it isn't a common thing on cars then why would it be a big deal. have you had any experience with this? did the sled have one before the conversion?

Possibly holds a small amount of pressure to prevent air entering the slave??? Im guessing though.

No, Subaru wanted $425 for a new one and an 8 week wait, so I got a 2nd hand one for an n/a from subabits for $55, getting Stuart to install it on Thursday.

$55 sounds like tigerblood win, Ash.'sled doesn't have one, no Gen2 or earlier I have seen has one either.
