he is a good dude, no nonsense and is a mobile service that comes to you. takes a couple of hours to do a whole car. he does a great job and is cheaper than a lot of beaters.
i've had a few cars done by him and i know a bunch of other members from SC have used him as well. Never heard a bad word about his service or workmanship

He's mobile and best in Sydney...
Depending where you are should be about $40-60/guard
Tell Nelson your with SubyClub.com and he should fix u up...

last time i spoke with Nelson we were considering doing a suby club "group buy" and getting him to come out on a cruise and do a bunch of members cars at the same time. probably leave it until summer now as it's a bit cold for standing about all day

The other night when I lowered my car more, I took it round the block and it rubbed on the LHR abit, so took the wheel off and pulled it some more - makes it easy when you've got one sitting in the shed...

If you go really low, you'll have to beat/massage the inner skirts (the metal part) and tuck the wiring harness on the LH side up higher and maybe put something over the top of it to stop the rubbing (I used 1" vinyl hose, cut it down the middle and cable tied the length of it).
Then if you go really, really low, you'll have to notch the front chassis so the CV's don't touch it.

Throw the guard liners in the bin or get a heatgun and "mould" them out of the way.

hmmm, so I won't encounter any issues removing the inner black guards? cheers
also Chris: think I'll pass - I gotta respray them and ****. $$$$ thanks though!

You lowered it even more?? ZOMGI bought a roller and had it shipped from the US for abit over the price posted ($240).

and id definitely be in on the group buy for rolling guards cos mine rub often.. and i do want to go lower so we'll see. Does it actually mean rolling the metal panel a bit or only just a very small portion of it, that flat spot around the edge?

Depends on how much u actually wanted to be rolled, but I'm guessin in ur case on the inner lip of the guard will be rolled

It's just the double walled part on the rear quarters *most* people will do, they'll just roll them out of the way abit where the tyre rubs. The tyre leaves a nice rub mark on the paint or that bit of pinch weld (a rubber strip with metal on the inside) so it's pretty easy to see.
But if you want a proper job, tell them to roll the lip flat against the quarter panel.

Yep. After I put in shortened12kg front springs and shortened14kg rears... Stock the Flex's came with 6kg, so abit of a jump.
I got all 4 tyres to tuck fairly easy in the end - thou it's starting to rub somewhere in the front left when reversing into my driveway, nothing a hammer won't fix.
If it's nothing major, I might wind it down another 5mm and see what happens.
PICS ASAP!!!
One day, gotta look after the wife and our now 3 day old son - he had to be chopped out after he got "stuck".

this is what nelson does them. once he's done, you'd think the car rolled off the production line with the guards rolled that way. as i said previously, he does an amazing job
butchers at the panel beaters in the other hand...
