Evening All,

Looking at roof rack option for the outback. Supercheap have the Prorack whispbar on special at a price I was pretty impressed by.

However, I am torn between the Flush bar or the Through bar...

IMO the flush bars look better but the through bars probably offer more options as far as being able to secure and tie things to them

Through bars will whistle with high speed more so than flush bars.

What are you wanting to carry specifically?

Ha that's the exact reason I bought roof racks! I just picked up some cross bars from ebay and they became useful for many things

I'm going with the flush ones. Look much nicer IMO

Theyre roof racks, who cares.

Its not like theyre a permanent fixture on the car. Go the cheapest option IMO.

I went the oem Subaru through bars for 3 reasons. 1, I got them cheap 2, theyre oem 3, I got them cheap. :D

My other option is to try and steal the factory through bars that were on my old mans 2011 outback from the factory, not sure they are the same fit though??

Might need to do some research or call in 'for a chat'..

If your not in a hurry keep an eye on eBay as they pop up every so often.
