Enquiring about Gen4 5 spoke wheels at local wrecker - what would you guys say is a decent price? I have got him down to $800 for a mint set - but he has to go and check the yard and call me back. He was qouting with rubber though, and said 'we can sort you out' :P

Tax return on rash free, non-paint fadey wheels? Sound fair.

You should be able to find them for 400 bucks mate. Don't pay more.

I got a set about 2 years ago for 600 bucks with RE050A tyres with 80% tread.

$800 with tyres is a good deal - if the tyres are at least 75%

I'd pay $350-400 without tyres but then a brand new set of rubber is $1k ontop of that

This is what I am thinking - he is going to call me back anyway. I'll probably pay $600 for just the rims if they are mint condition, without rubber (or shit rubber). $150/wheel is cheaper than the ~$200/wheel I got qouted to get my current wheels resprayed. Keep in mind everything is a bit more expensive up here for no real reason at all.

If the set he finds has got good rubber - as in better tyres than the cheapo's on my current rims - I may take them.

I suppose you couldn't do it in posts, so you had to win at something?

I know, I need to stop day trading and then forgetting about dipping after the DV.

:/

I would've been 52k if I remembered to drop my JBHF before the DV dump.

:/

Yeah after a quick check around ebay, trading post, I think $600-800 is on the money, especially in my area, and if they are mint with tyres.

Next up will be exhaust, but that wont happen until I recieve the tax return. I may even put it on the local dyno and see whats happening with the stock tune and gear, all I know at this point is that its smooth and fast

Still at 49.9xxxxxx

COH is going hard. But I really need to set reminders to bail straight after the DV.

Anyone else playing it this way?
