I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

It's getting scarily close to the specs of my last RS Lib... but I don't know how much longer I'll keep this shell.

I have an itch for a de-lifted, turbo, 6MT Gen3 Outback

If i wasn't in the market for a R34 GTR as my next car, i would probs look at building a mental Gen 4 Wagon, or similar.

Cheers,
Shazza

All good. :)

Back on topic: getting the rear to ride nicely can be a pain. Apparently, due to the weight of the Gen3 OBK, stock Bilsteins don't take that well to being fitted with lowered springs. I've been recommended BC Coilovers as a better alternative, especially if ride quality is a concern (though the stock rear springs are apparently no good - you need a different rate, which I haven't been told).

I had Bilsteins and lowered springs before the Tein Flex's - ride wasn't bad and didn't sag. Had wagon specific springs thou.

With coilovers you want a higher rear spring rate - get 2 or 3kg stiffer in the back, i.e 6kg front = 8 or 9 kg rears.
FWIW, I had 6kg all round stock, change the rears to 10kg rear Swifts and didn't notice that much of a difference (have a read about Swift springs) - now have 12kg front and 14kg rears.

2002 Outback - it's gone...
