so i loaded my car up tonight with a few mates and my mates new rims that we picked up and going around corners we could hear the rear left wheel rubbing, so im going to get the guards rolled. i was just wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere in the wollongong/sydney area or can tell me how much it should cost me.

thanks in advance

That's so weird man. Your car is stock height and there should be a shit load of room to move with the stock rear guards anyway.. but I guess your rims do have some mean offset.

Someone has a contact on here, I use to have it.. something like $45/corner.. Maybe it was Chris (SAV).

Pull the pinch weld (metal with rubber around it) off - it's on the inside of the guard and will be caked in dirt/tar/rocks etc.

yeah, when the car isn't moving the wheels fit inside the top of the guards by about 0.5mm and it hits the bump stops about 2mm before hitting the front of the guard but when the car is moving the just seem to touch so im going to roll them just to be safe

thanks heaps, ill give them a call tomorrow

Depends how much and where it's actually rubbing, won't hurt anything to take it off thou.

i think youll find that after a while your tires will wear through that rubber strip and believe it or not it actually has little metal strips inside it which started destroying my tires and making horrible noises
